Future uses of funds generated from Peachtree City's hotel/motel tax, a topic for discussion at the city's annual retreat this weekend, will affect both the city's Airport Authority and the Development Authority of Peachtree City. Both boards receive funding from the hotel/motel tax at present but expect that the funding may be reduced in the future. Falcon Field officials have said the airport is headed toward self-sufficiency, and the DAPC is also looking into funding sources. The city council also is expected to review budgets, expenditure projections and construction projects, along with a five-year public improvement program update. Master plans for several areas of city services also will be discussed. Retreat sessions start at 1 p.m. today and at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center.
