The Peachtree City Planning Commission has a packed agenda, including annexations and zonings of properties bordering Tyrone, for the regular meeting Monday March 8 at 7 p.m. at City Hall. Before the meeting, the commission will hold a 6 p.m. workshop to discuss items for the City Council retreat March 19-20. Four small tracts on Greenwood Lane and one at Loring Lane and Crabapple Lane East are proposed for annexation because the properties are partly in the city of Tyrone but can be accessed only from Peachtree City. The commission also will consider a rezoning request for an assisted living facility in the Bridge Park commercial area. A zoning amendment to allow a private club in the office-industrial (OI) classification also will be heard. Public hearing sessions will be opened for all six items concerning rezoning, annexation or zoning amendment. Also set for the agenda are a redevelopment plan for Universal Refining L.L.C. at the old Georgia Pacific site on Dividend Drive; a conceptual site plan for the Peachtree City Distribution Center at Ga. Highway 74 and Dividend Drive, and a landscape plan for the Village Package Store at Crosstown Court.
