Water problems

Despite having to post a warning letter about the quality of the city's water, Senoia public works director Leonard Thompson said the city's water is fine.

In January, the EPD discovered some bacteria in samples the city submitted to the group for testing. But Thompson said, the tests were conducted in the city's newest subdivision, Springdale, and the bad samples were probably a result of mishandling.

"We've already resubmitted tests to EPD and everything's fine, but they're still requiring us to post the warning at City Hall, " he said.
