Peachtree City police arrested two juveniles, ages 14 and 15, for charges related to weapons and drugs at McIntosh High School on Feb. 2, police reports show. The school resource officer received information that a student had metal knuckles, and upon investigating found that both juveniles had the weapons, reports state. Both were charged with possession of a weapon on school property and possession of drug related objects, said Chief James Murray. One was also charged with violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act. Police also are investigating hit-and-run accidents at Paschall Industries and A&P Food Market, and damage to a window of a business on Eastbrook Bend. Peachtree City arrests included Richard D. Twohig, 51, 113 Terrace Tay, DUI, open container and failure to yield right-of-way; George H. Watson, 47, 413 Ardell Court, DUI and failure to maintain lane; Jeffrey A. Bearden, 25, 703 Magnus Court, resisting officer, drinking in public, violation of park hours; David N. Petroline, 20, 1812 Peachtree Station Circle, open container and minor in possession of alcohol; Keri L. Truitt, 19, 142 Interlochen Drive, minor in possession of alcohol.
