Fayette County teachers were among the 376 attendees at the Family and Consumer Science Inservice held Jan. 29-30. State Supervisor Sandra Dickerson presided over the general session. Breakout classes included New Trends in Curriculum, National Standards, Classroom Management, Sewing Update Workshops, Block Scheduling, National Board Certification, and Middle School Forum.

Teachers attending were Becky Hughes, J.C. Booth Middle; Laurel Heinz, Whitewater Middle; Carmen Eiserman, Rising Starr Middle; Judy Zacherl, Fayette Middle; Mary Ann Cauthen and Sharon Moulton-Wright, Fayette County High; Linda Van Pelt, Sandy Creek High; Jewel DeBusk, McIntosh High; and Vickie Wallen, Starr's Mill High.
