Fayetteville resident John W. Jackson has
joined the board of directors of the Atlanta Area Chapter
of the Alzheimer's Association. A senior vice president/regional manager
of SouthTrust Bank in Decatur, Mr. Jackson is an alumnus
of Leadership Atlanta, Leadership DeKalb, and
Leadership Georgia. Currently serving on the boards of the
American Cancer Society and the Georgia Community for
Re-Development, in the past he has also served on the
fund-raising committee of the Atlanta Chamber of
Commerce. A University of Georgia graduate, he and
his wife have two daughters. He is dedicated to serving on
the board of Alzheimer's Association because his
grandmother had the disease in her final years of life.
The Georgia Council of Chiropractic recently
held the election of its new officers at its annual Fall
Convention. Dr. Rod Justice of Peachtree City was re-elected
secretary. The GCC was formed in 1980 to represent the interests
of Georgia chiropractors and their patients.
