Learn creative financial management strategies that should be incorporated into any investment, estate or retirement planning program (in non-technical language) during the Financial Strategies for Successful Retirement Seminar and Workshop.

During four Tuesdays beginning Jan. 19 from 7-9 p.m., Braelinn Baptist Church will host as featured speaker of the seminar Jim Watkins, RIA, member of the International Association of Financial Planners and owner of Securities Investment Brokers, Inc. in Peachtree City.

Participants will learn how to conservatively manage money for maximum return; estate planning techniques that can save thousands; how to allocate assets to minimize risk; how interest rates affect investment; strategies to significantly reduce taxes; steps to take to assure a financially rewarding retirement; and how to avoid the nine most common mistakes made by retirees.

The cost of the workshop is $50 per family. Attendees will receive 10 hours of classroom instruction, a 150-page workbook and a personal financial strategy planning session. Preregistration is suggested. No childcare is available.
