Discussion will continue Monday night on proposed housing codes for Peachtree City's increasing problems with older houses and commercial structures.

The Peachtree City Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall to continue a public hearing last conducted Dec. 14. The codes proposed include the Southern Standard Building Code, Existing Housing Code and Unsafe Building Abatement Code. Several residents in December expressed concerns about whether the codes would give unwarranted powers to building officials and inspectors.

Other items on the planning commission agenda include a landscape plan for Don Pablo's Mexican Kitchen, a restaurant under construction at Ga. Highway 54 and MarketPlace Boulevard (northwest of the intersection of Ga. highways 54 and 74); and a landscape plan for World Travel Partners at Westpark Court.

A conceptual site plan for the Westpark Drive Office Building also is set for review, along with a concept plat for Flat Creek Crossing subdivision at Loring Lane and Sims Road.
