The historic east Coweta County town of Senoia has merged into traffic on the information superhighway. During Monday night's council meeting, Mayor Joan Trammell announced the city's new Web page is up and running. While there are still some minor adjustments to be made, interested visitors can now find out what's happening in the city by pointing their Web browser to www.senoia.com. As you arrive at the city's homepage, you're given a variety of choices. Perhaps you would like to see what's happening in the local political arena. Just click on city council and get up to speed on what the government's been doing. History fans will love the section that gives a brief overview of the town's colorful history and upcoming events in the town will be regularly posted on the site. Trammell gives "all the credit in the world" to resident Alan Pogue
who designed the page and got it on the Web for the city. Pogue did the
service for free and Trammell is extremely grateful for the time and
effort he put into the project. Eventually, the site will have a section where residents can e-mail the mayor which could make the elected officials even more accessible. For now, residents can still communicate with the mayor the old fashioned way by telephone. Web facts: · Address: www.senoia.com · Offers info on all aspects of the city · Will have e-mail access
