Fayette Community Hospital's Rehabilitation and Fitness Center is offering its third series of Healthy Living Weight Loss classes to the community. Participants receive instruction in a number of areas, including nutrition, exercise and stress management.

They will also learn practical applications of healthy living, such as label reading and menu planning. Each week, the class is led by members of the Fayette Community Hospital staff, representing departments such as nutrition and dietary, exercise physiology and the Fitness Center.

The five-week class begins Thursday, Jan. 14, and runs through Feb. 11, from 7-8 p.m. in the Fitness Center, located in the hospital.

The class costs $50 for Fitness Center members and $75 for nonmembers. The fee includes the five-week program, materials, and one on one assessment with a fitness specialist prior to the program, as well as a reevaluation after the program's completion. Those interested in joining the Fitness Center will receive 50 percent off initiation fees.

Call the Fayette Community Hospital's Rehab and Fitness Center, 770-719-7095, to register.
