Starr's Mill gets New Hope sod

The grounds at the Starr's Mill High School complex are getting a makeover with a little help from friends at New Hope Baptist Church at Starr's Mill.

"A couple of church members donated 40 pallets of sod, two truckloads worth," said associate pastor Rick Nixon. About two dozen volunteers prepared the ground, then laid the sod in just three hours.

New Hope at Starr's Mill holds its worship services in the high school auditorium.
