GOP school board blows it again

Letters from Our Readers

The Republican School Board is at it again!

The redrawing of district lines to send Brooks students all the way to the other end of the county is just wrong! They live a mere five miles from Starrs Mill and go there now. Next year they will go to Fayette County High School in Fayetteville. There is no valid reason.

This is a prime example of "Republican Group Think." We need Democrats on our local school board for checks and balances. Only by electing Democrats this Nov. 3 can the people of Fayette County hold the Republican School Board accountable.

Still not convinced? Take a look at your property tax bill and compare it to last year. Fayette County citizens just received the largest tax increase in our history. If you think it was justified, reelect your local Republicans!
