Local singers of 'Justified' introduce album in F'ville

The contemporary Christian singing group "According to John" will introduce their first album on KMG Records at Sonrise Christian Bookstore in Fayetteville Oct. 20.

The group will introduce "A2J," which contains the group's popular radio single, "Justified." The "album-release party" begins at 6:30 p.m., said Roxanne Nichols at Sonrise.

John Waller of Fayetteville is lead singer of the group. Also from Fayetteville is drummer Jeff Billes, while bassist Ed Bunton is from Lawrenceville and lead guitarist Jason Hoard from Griffin. The local group has gained nationwide support while touring for the last several years, and reviews of their new single and album have been excellent.

A radio reviewer in Michigan said of "Justified" that "you can't get any more 'now' musically and any more 'eternal' lyrically." The CCM Update of Nashville reviews the album: "Once again, the fertile musical crop known as Georgia has produced a winner. According to John offers rootsy acoustic and electric guitar textures to complement reflective, powerful and creative lyrics grounded in Scripture."
