I would like to raise my concern over the Republican leadership here in Fayette County. It seems to me that they have not done a very good job in planning, responding to the public, and in managing our tax dollars. We have seen problem after problem and I believe that we need a change. We need to send a clear and distinct message to the local Republican Party that we have had enough. Planning for 4 percent annual growth and more than doubling the size of the population in 20 years is not a "slow growth" policy. All it means is that our leaders are planning for double the problems: double the crime, double the traffic, double the congestion, and double the schools. If you're happy with the Republican leadership in the county, then your choice is clear, if you're not there is an alternative. Roger Marietta
