Ronnie and Ivy Lockett will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 14, 2005. The couple was married Oct. 14, 1955 in Atlanta at the Peachtree Christian Church on Peachtree Street. Mrs. Lockett’s parents held a reception for the newlyweds at their new home in Atlanta.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Lockett have held many positions within the community and have been recognized for numerous achievements.
The couple will celebrate their 50 years together with a trip accompanied by many of their friends.
