Project Santa open house Dec. 8

The Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia and Dupont Tyvek have announced plans for the 4th Annual “Project Santa”, an effort to provide Christmas toys and food for needy families in the 10-county area served by the association.

Distribution of the items will be through local DFCS offices. Monetary contributions for “Project Santa” can be brought to the “Project Santa” Open House, which will be held Thursday, Dec. 8, at the association office, located in Fayetteville. Hours for the open house will be noon to 5 p.m.

Reservations for the open house, which is for association members and associates, can be made through Monday, Dec. 5, by calling 770-716-7109. Those unable to attend the event can mail their contributions to the association office.

The Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia serves builders in Fayette, Coweta, Spalding, Meriwether, Heard, Pike, Upson, Lamar, Butts and Jasper counties. More information about the group can be obtained by calling Sandy Boda, executive officer, at the association office.
