Revival, concerts, movies on tap at Senoia BaptistFirst Baptist Church of Senoia will host its 2005 Fall Revival services Sunday, Oct. 16 through Wednesday, Oct. 19, with special events on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 21 and 22. Evening services will begin at 6:30 p.m. with special music from Chris Allman and this years Revival Choir. Guest Evangelist is Joey Hancock, a Greenville, S.C. native who is now making his home in Georgia. A graduate of Furman University and Southwestern Baptist Seminary, Hancock is a nationally known speaker and humorist who has preached many wild game banquets and other mens ministries. In addition, Chris Allman will lead the worship services through gospel music. Allmans ministry has taken him to Israel, Greece, Turkey and over half of the United States. He currently pastors a church in Burlington, N.C. Revival begins during the Sunday morning service at 11 a.m. and there is a special emphasis for each night of revival. Those attending Sunday night are requested to welcome the evangelist by wearing Georgia Bulldog red. Monday, Oct. 17, is Sunday School Night. Members are encouraged to sit with members of their Sunday school classes. Tuesday, Oct. 18, is Friend Night. All are encouraged to bring a friend. Wednesday, Oct. 19, is Family Night. A free family meal will be served at 5:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. For reservations, contact the church office by noon on Monday, Oct. 17. To conclude the revival week, First Baptist will premiere the movie, Left Behind III - World at War on Friday, Oct. 21 and Saturday, Oct. 22. The Friday showing is Youth Night. A Christian Concert by Jubals Kin, will begin at 7 p.m., followed by the movie at 8:30 p.m. Saturday is Family Night and begins at 7 p.m. with special music by First Praise, followed by the movie at 7:45 p.m. Child care will be provided for the Saturday showing.
