United opens Tyrone branch

United Community Bank has opened a new location at 1528 Ga. Highway 74 in Tyrone. This full-service banking office complements United’s neighboring banks in Peachtree City and Fairburn. The bank officially opened Aug. 29.

“I know that customers expect superior service at our banks. They want to leave the bank feeling confident with their banking choice and still enjoy the atmosphere of a small town bank. Our goal is to exceed their expectations and to increase our presence in this area,” saidd President and CEO David Coxon.

Bank Manager Jeff Morrow extends a personal invitation to “stop by and experience the hometown banking for which we are known. Regular banking hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday. Extended drive-up hours are 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.
