Local named Travel Ball Select Player of the Year

Fayetteville resident Miles Head was recently selected as the Travel Ball Select (TBS) Player of the Year. A member of the Southeastern Road Warriors and Bergen Beach Youth Team, Head was praised by the TBS panel for his great knowledge of positions, excellent instincts, temperance, determination and outstanding leadership skills and abilities.

While playing for the Road Warriors, head hit .642, with 93 extra base hits, 22 home runs and 228 RBIs. This was achieved against some of the best 14 and under teams in the country and many of the best 15 and under and 16 and under teams.

Head plays catcher, first base and third base and is known by coaches and teammates as a team player.
