New Left Behind movie to debut at Senoia 1st BaptistThe movie, Left Behind - World At War, will make its local debut at First Baptist Church of Senoia, 41 Johnson Street, Friday, Oct. 21, and Saturday, Oct. 22. Admission is free, and a love offering will be taken. The Friday showing, Oct. 21, is Youth Night. A Christian Concert by Jubals Kin, will begin at 7 p.m., followed by the movie at 8:30 p.m. Family Night is Saturday, Oct. 22, and begins at 7 p.m. with special music by First Praise, followed by the movie at 7:45 p.m. Childcare will be provided for the Saturday showing. The producer of the movie, Cloud Ten Pictures, is challenging Hollywoods rules by allowing churches to open their doors to premiere the movie instead of theaters. While the distribution strategy may be new, Cloud Ten Pictures has kept the cast of leading characters of the previous two Left Behind movies. Kirk Cameron, Chelsea Noble, Brad Johnson, Janaya Stephens and Gordon Currie all return and are joined by Lou Gossett Jr. The Left Behind films are based on the best-selling books, Left Behind and Tribulation Force, and follow the lives and struggles of those left behind on earth after the rapture of the church as foretold in the Bible. To reserve a seat, send an e-mail to fbcsenoia@fbcsenoia.org with the number of tickets desired, or call the church office, 770-599-3012.
