Homecoming tonight for NHS

Newnan High School's homecoming activities culminate when the Cougars play Mundy’s Mill at Drake Stadium tonight at 7:30 p.m. At halftime, the homecoming queen will be crowned and the winners of the window painting, the door decorations, and the best float will be announced.

The homecoming parade will wind through the streets of downtown Newnan today beginning at 4 p.m. near McKoon’s Funeral Home and ending at Newnan High School. The band, ROTC, and cheerleaders will participate, and each class will enter a float, hoping to be named the best in the parade.
