Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. James J. Cannon officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include a son, Theron and Dolly Banks, Loganville; a daughter, JoeAnn Dean, Riverdale; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Frances Heath, Fairburn. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge. Eva Charlotte JohnsonEva Charlotte Johnson Ramback, 80, Peachtree City, died Sept. 12, 2005. She was born July 4, 1926 in Tacoma, Wash. Services were at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Peachtree City. Interment will be in Tacoma, Wash. Survivors include her children, Christine, Robin, and Steven; a sister, Lois; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge. Evyleen Mullins SlaughterEvyleen Mullins Slaughter, 80, Fayetteville, died Sept. 12, 2005. She was born Oct. 15, 1924 in Gordon County. She was a long-time member of Fayetteville First Baptist Church. Services were at the Overton Chapel, Fayetteville First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Glenn Stringham, and the Rev. Frank Ellis officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include her sons, Ronnie and Cynthia Slaughter, Larry Slaughter, and Jerry and Susan Slaughter, all of Fayetteville, Daryl and Kellie Slaughter, Memphis, Tenn., and Keith Slaughter, Newnan; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Survivors include her sons, Charlie and Bonny Purcell, Douglas, and Trey William, Brooks; a daughter, Missy and Eric Bryant, Valdosta; her mother, Virginia Lucas, Jonesboro; brother, Robert Lucas, Jonesboro; sisters, Vickie Sams, Riverdale, Ginny Lucas, Cumming, and April Simmons, Douglasville; and six grandchildren. Memorial services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel. Survivors include her husband, Jeff Anderson, Peachtree City; mother, Suzanne Williford, San Diego, Calif.; father, Jerry Williford, Fayetteville; and a brother, Wade Williford, La Jolla, Calif. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge. Donald Maxie CumbieDonald Maxie Cumbie, 70, Fayetteville, died Sept. 17, 2005. He was a native of Mecklenburg County, N. C., and was a construction worker. He was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include a brother, Buddy and Gail Cumbie, Fayetteville; nephews, Curtis Cumbie and Craig Cumbie; a niece, Teresa Cofina; grand-nephews Andrew and Aiden; and a grand-niece, Julie.
