Bad Links? | Teams seek region wins and good positions in standings By MICHAEL BOYLAN Whitewater picked up another region win, bringing their region record to 4-1, by defeating Haralson County 9-7. They hosted Chapel Hill last night and will play at Douglas County tomorrow. Sandy Creek faced Alexander last Thursday and lost 6-1. They played at Northgate last night and will host Lithia Springs tomorrow at 4 p.m. Fayette County played in the Cherokee tournament on Friday and Saturday and lost all four games. The Lady Tigers faced Grayson in the first game and fell 9-2, following it up with a 5-4 loss to Pace Academy. On Saturday morning, Fayette County lost 4-1 to Lovett and finished the day with a 5-4 loss to Northwest Whitfield. Fayette County faced Newnan last night will host McIntosh tonight at 5 p.m. McIntosh hosted Alexander last night. Our Lady of Mercy took on Mt. Paran on Monday and lost 14-3. They played at Galloway last night and will play at Whitefield Academy at 5 p.m. tomorrow. Landmark Christian, which lost 1-0 to Galloway last Thursday, will play at St Francis tomorrow at 5 p.m. |
