Religion BriefsHis House church plans revival Sept. 18-21His House Community Church in Senoia will have a revival for all ages Sunday, Sept. 18 through Wednesday, Sept. 21. Dr. Oscar Cope will be the visiting evangelist and Emanual Williams will lead the music. Services begin Sept. 18 at 11 a.m., followed by dinner at the church. Services on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will begin at 7 p.m. A Revival Ranch Program will be available for children in first through fifth grade and a nursery will be provided for children ages 6 months to age 5. Christ Our Hope sets mens breakfast Sept. 24The men at Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church will resume their regular monthly breakfast meetings Saturday, Sept. 24, at 8:30 a.m. The church is at 2165 Ga. Hwy. 138, SW, Riverdale, just over the Fayette County line. For more information, call 770-997-7117.
Women on Mission group starts Sept. 29Women on Mission at Fayetteville First Baptist Church, will meet Thursday, Sept. 29, at 7 p.m., in room A201 of the church. The group provides an opportunity for mission-minded women to join other women in Christian fellowship and spiritual growth while participating in local mission activities. The church is on Stonewall Avenue about a block from the Fayette County Courthouse.
Second coming to appear at Open Door BaptistSecond Coming, a Southern gospel music group from Griffin, will be featured guests during Open Door Baptist Churchs 31st annual homecoming Sunday, Sept. 25. Morning worship is at 11 a.m., with a performance by Second Coming. Lunch will follow worship and at 2 p.m., Second Coming will give an additional performance. The church is at 7364 Ga.
