She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Stanley Rower, and a son, Richard Rower. Interment was at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va. Survivors include sons, Gary and Gwen Rower, Peachtree City, and Jack and Ruth Rower; a daughter, Tammy and Brian Hoyt; and six grandchildren. Wayne A. SolidayWayne A. Soliday, Peachtree City, formerly of Graham, N. C., died Aug. 13, 2005 after a long battle with a rare spinal cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, Chaplain Wayne E. Soliday. He was a graduate of Wheaton College, Illinois, and a veteran of the United States Navy, serving as a combat pilot during the Viet Nam War. he was a pilot for National Airlines and Pan American Airlines, retiring as a captain at Delta Air Lines. He was a member of St. Andrews in-the-Pines Episcopal Church, where he sang in the choir and served on the vestry as senior warden. He was also a member of the Southern Crescent Chorale. A Requiem Mass was celebrated at St. Andrews in-the-Pines. Survivors include his wife, Carole Cassel Soliday; mother, Hazel Search Soliday, Elon, N. C.; sons, Stephen Wayne and Heather Soliday, Herndon, Va., Michael John and Elizabeth Soliday, Annapolis, Md., and David Alan and Cynthia Soliday, Charlotte N. C.; a brother, Keith and Joanne Soliday, Elon, N. C.; a sister, Beverlea and John Ertlschweiger, Sterling, Va.; and grandchildren, Amber, Adrienne, Rebekah, Jacob, Caron, and Joshua. She was born March 25, 1915 in Fayette County, daughter of Ed B. and Lilla Belle Lindler Holt. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Alford Hazelton. In her professional career in Fayetteville, she was a secretary to the Superintendent of the Fayette County Board of Education and an office manager for Sams Clinic. Graveside services were at Camp Memorial Cemetery, Fayetteville, with a grandson, the Rev. Steven Hazelton, officiating. Survivors include a son, Ken and Harriett S. Hazelton, Fayetteville; a daughter, Nancy and Dr. Robert Epstein, Pine Mountain; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
