Piedmont Fayette offers smoking cessation classes

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is hosting a seven-week program designed to assist people who are ready to quit smoking.

Beginning Monday, Sept. 12, classes will be held weekly from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Building 1279 - 1279 Highway 54 West, just west of the main hospital — on the third floor, Conference Room A.  Classes run through Oct. 17.

Led by a Piedmont Fayette staff member who is an American Lung Association trained facilitator, the class promises to be both informative and enlightening. Class space is limited, and registration is $25 to the public. The class is free for all Piedmont Healthcare employees. To register, call Link2Health at 1-866-900-4321.
