Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home with Linda Groce and Joel Bridges officiating. Interment was at Meriwether Memorial Gardens with the Rev. John Conrad officiating. Survivors include sons, Joel Bridges, Newnan, Kevin and Heidi Bridges, Fayetteville, and William Bridges, Smyrna; daughters, Linda and Don Groce, Fayetteville, and Ginka Bridges, Smyrna; brothers, Perry Bridges, Olathe, Kan., and Don Bridges, Peachtree City; a sister, Wonnie Evans, Camden, Tenn.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Memorial donations may be made to Southwest Christian Care, 7225 Lester Road, Union City, GA 30291. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
Samuel Charles ONealSamuel Charles ONeal, 64, Newnan, died Aug. 9, 2005. He was born Nov. 11, 1940 in Maryville, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Proffitt ONeal, and a granddaughter, Kimberly Brown. He was retired from Delta Air Lines after 29 years of employment. He and his wife own and operated PaPa JuJus Collectibles in Sharpsburg. Services were at the Lisbon Baptist Church, Fayetteville with interment at the church cemetery. The Rev. Harry Parkerson officiated. Survivors include his wife, Julia Lovvern ONeal, Newnan; mother, Mildred Greene ONeal, Peachtree City; daughters, Sherry and Kenneth Koon, and Penny and Pedro Delvalle, all of Sharpsburg, and Shannon and Jeff Wallace, Newnan; a stepson, Allen and Lisa Brown, Griffin, Ga.; a stepdaughter, Joy Lynn Hummel and her fiancée, Gerald McKettrick, Grovetown, Ga.; a sister, Peggy and David Lambert, Fayetteville; and grandchildren, Ryan Burns, P. J. Delvalle, MaCrae Koon, Nathan Koon, Chad Koon, Tyler Koon, Hunter Wallace, Zachary Wallace, Jamie Hummel, Chris Hummel, and Kyle Hummel. McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
Josie Paige BowlesInfant Josie Paige Bowles, Newnan, was stillborn on Aug. 10, 2005. Graveside services were at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include her parents, Mark A. and Amanda R. Bowles Jr., Newnan; grandparents, Mark A. and Joni B. Bowles Sr., and Gary A. and Susan G. Ray, all of Sharpsburg; great-grandparents, Dellano E. and Gladys B. Bowles, and James B. and Shirley H. Brown, all of Fayetteville, D. E. and Jacqueline W. Ray, Southhaven, Miss., and Douglas H. and Eileen S. Craig, Steeleville, Ill. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
