She also had lived in Johnson City, Tenn., and in Fayetteville for the past 6 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Mayes Lockhart. Though a home maker, she enjoyed employing her talent in the field of interior decorating. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Peachtree City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Marys Catholic Church, Johnson City, Tenn., the Rev. Father Gerard Finucane as the celebrant. Graveside services will follow at Monte Vista Memorial Park. She was graduated from Cranford High School, Cranford, N. J. in 1947 and attended Kean College. She was an avid golfer, and had worked for Merck Pharmaceuticals. Worth Huckaby, brothers, Harvey Hayes, Denson Hayes, a sister, Ruth Collinsworth, and great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Huckaby. She and her husband had served churches in Spalding, Upson, Fayette, and Heard counties in their 50 years of ministry. She loved to garden and fish. Services were at the Whitewater Baptist Church, Brooks, with the Rev. James Burleson, and the Rev. Eugene Huckaby officiating. Interment was at the church cemetery with the Rev. He had been employed by Georgia Power Company for 25 years, and was in plant maintenance the last 16 years at Plant Yates, Newnan. He was a Georgia Bulldog fan, and loved NASCAR. Wesley Robert AsinofWesley Robert Asinof, 89, retired judge, Fayette County, died Aug. 7, 2005. He was born Jan. 26, 1916 in New Rochelle, N. Y. He was preceded in death by his son, Wesley Robert Asinof Jr. He started his law practice in 1939 in Atlanta. He had served as past president of both Fulton County and Fayette County Lawyers Association. He served as Municipal Court judge for Peachtree City, Tyrone, and as a substitute judge for the Probate Court, Fayette County. He was admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuit, the District Court of the United States for the Northern District of Georgia, Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Superior Courts of Georgia, and the Tax Court of the United States. Services will be this afternoon at 3 p.m. at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Dr. Dee Shelnutt officiating. Interment is at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville.
