She was a member of the Southern Crescent Church of Christ, Tyrone. She was an avid basketball fan and proud supporter of the University of Arkansas. Raymond Edward TrimbleRaymond Edward Trimble, 90, Fayetteville, died July 19, 2005. He was born Sept. 22, 1914 in Fulton County. He retired as Superintendent of Mails at the Atlanta Post Office after 39 years of service. He was a Boy Scout leader and Sunday School teacher. He was a founding trustee of Christian City and served as chairman of the board three terms. He was long-time member and Elder Emeritus at the Fayetteville Christian Church. He was active in the National Association of Retired Federal employees. Services were at the Fayetteville Christian Church with the Rev. Dr. Dan Roberts and Pastor Clifford Blair officiating. Warner Phillips McLeroy Jr.Warner Phillips Phil McLeroy Jr., 62, Dothan, died July 20, 2005. He was born and reared in Atlanta and lived in Fayetteville for many years before moving to Dothan in 1990. He was preceded in death by his father, Warner Phillip McLeroy Sr., and a sister, Linda McLeroy. He was veteran of the United States Army from 1962 to 1965. He was retired as an air traffic controller at Ft. Sill, Okla., and also at Hartsfield International Airport, Atlanta, and as an airline pilot with Atlantic Southeast Airlines. He was a member of the Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Services were at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Willis, and the Rev. Orrin Barrett officiating. Interment was at the Gardens of Memory, Headland, Ala. He was a veteran of World War II and retired as a commander in the United States Naval Reserve with 30 years of service. He held an B. S. in Finance and M. B. A. from New York University. Most of his professional career was in international banking and he was retired from the Bank of New York as a group vice president in charge of the Far East in 1985. He went on to a career in his retirement of consulting, guest lecturing, and teaching college at St. Josephs College, New York. He and his wife moved to Peachtree City in 1995 and were members of Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church. Services were at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Ethel Hanft, Peachtree City; sons, Robert Hanft, Bruce Hanft, and Paul Hanft; three daughters-in-law; six grandchildren; and a sister, Loraine Daniell. She was born Oct. 5, 1917 in Fayette County, daughter of Samuel Benjamin and Mamie Whatley Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Lee Jones. She had lived in the Starrs Mill-Jones Hill communities all her life. Services were at Lisbon Baptist Church with the Rev. Randall Harris and the Rev. Carlton Swicegood officiating. Interment was at the church cemetery.
