American Land Mart sets records in May

May 2005 was a record-breaking month for Coldwell Banker American Land Mart of Conyers, according to figures released by Rick Schlosser, managing broker.

“Our May 2005 earnings report shows the highest level of earnings ever posted in the history of the company,” said Schlosser. “With closed sales coming to approximately $13,109,402 during the month, this was a new company record in both dollar volume on closed sales and commission income. Total number of closed sales during the month came to 36, which isn’t a new monthly record, but it’s not far behind the record of 42 established in July of 2003.”

Coldwell Banker American Land Mart, which has a major share of the luxury home market in the Rockdale County area, is an independent real estate company handling the sales and marketing of numerous subdivisions in the East Metro area. The company was founded by Alton Housworth Jr. in 1986 and was sold to the Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty organization in January of 2004. The oldest and largest real estate company headquartered in the Metro South area of Atlanta, Coldwell Banker Bullard has its headquarters in Jonesboro. The company has other Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty offices in Griffin, McDonough, Jackson, Peachtree City, Newnan, and Conyers, plus the affiliated Coldwell Banker American Land Mart office in Conyers. The Bullard organization, founded in 1956 by the late Cliff Bullard, worked out a franchise agreement with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation a few years ago and is now the largest Coldwell Banker franchise in Georgia.
