Builders meet at Arbor SpringsRegions Bank served as sponsor for a recent builders luncheon held at The Lodge at Pine Ridge National Golf and Country Club in Arbor Springs Plantation. Invited guests included builders from the Coweta and Fayette county areas, who were able to tour the newly opened clubhouse at the golf course and get a preview of two new phases opening in Arbor Springs Plantation this year. Phase G2, with 85 homesites (including lake lots), will be available this summer and Phase H, with 86 homesites including some on the golf course, will be available later in the fall. Dan Zavada, the developer of Arbor Springs Plantation, also presented information about the opening of the south entrance of the development at the intersection of Hwys. 154 and 29. He also discussed plans for Arbor Springs Village, which will include a grocery store as well as cluster villas and other commercial development. Construction on the village should begin in about two years, according to Zavada. Terry and Kelly Rayment, owners of Pine Ridge National Golf and Country Club, welcomed everyone to the new clubhouse and the restaurant, Kellys on the Green. In addition to the upscale restaurant, The Lodge offers a downstairs banquet facility that can accommodate up to 220 people, and it has a full sized kitchen, bar, and dance floor. According to Kelly Rayment, no other facility in Coweta County offers this large space along with a beautiful backdrop for weddings, receptions, bridal or baby showers or an afternoon tea. The Arbor Springs Plantation golf community is located northeast of Newnan off U.S. Hwy. 29 north.
