The popular musical by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross focuses on a middle aged baseball fanatic who trades his soul to the Devil for a chance to lead his favorite team to victory against the New York Yankees. As a young baseball sensation, Joe Hardy transforms the hapless Washington Senators into a winning team, only to realize the true worth of the life he left behind. With the help of a clever escape clause and a guilt-ridden temptress named Lola, Joe outsmarts Applegate, returns to his former self and leads the Senators to the World Series! The show is full of toe-tapping numbers that are fun for the whole family, including Youve Got to Have Heart, Shoeless Joe, and Six Months Out of Every Year. Whether you are a baseball fan or a theater lover, Damn Yankees has something for everyone. Tickets are $12 on Thursdays and $15 for adults and $12 for ages 12 and under on all other days.
