Bad Links? | Pioneers head to North Carolina for region meetWhen Austin Enriquez, a rising junior at Starr's Mill HS and a member of the SouthSide Pioneers, took first place (4.07.13) in the 1,500M Intermediate Boys Division at the 2005 USATF Junior Olympics Georgia Association Championship at Roswell HS held June 18-19, he also broke a record that had been standing for 16 years. Now Enriquez, along with his brother Warren and eight other SSPioneers, has advanced to the 2005 USATF Region 3 Championship to be held July 7-10 at North Carolina A & T State University in Greensboro. The top three finishers at the region meet will go on to compete at the 2005 National Junior Olympics Championship meet to be held July 28-31 at Indiana University in Indianalopis, IN.
