Joseph H. Haas

Joseph H. Haas, 74, Peachtree City, died June 18, 2005. He was born Feb. 17, 1931 in Germany. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Father John Walsh officiating. Survivors include a son, Joseph Haas, Coraopolis, Pa.; and a daughter, Monica Haas, Coraopolis, Pa. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.

 

Rita Cecile Capell

Rita Cecile Capell, 43, Fayetteville, died June 19, 2005. She was born Dec. 27, 1961 in Fulton County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hovey and Cleo Capell. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with interment at College Park Cemetery. Survivors include a son, Jordan Capell, Fayetteville; daughters, Tiffany Bethune, Oxford, and Jennifer Capell, Fayetteville; and sisters, Jimmie and Joe Tuggle, Fayetteville, and Renee Viverette, Fairburn. Montie Ruth Hill Reeder

Montie Ruth Hill Reeder, 78, Hampton, died June 19, 2005. She was born Dec. 8, 1926 in Fayette County, daughter of William and Clara Smith Hill. She spent much of her life on the east coast of Florida and worked with the council on aging. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Ellis Freeman officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include her husband, Oscar Eugene “Gene” Reeder, Hampton; sons, Don and Myra Burdette, Duluth, and Larry and Nancy Burdette, Odessa, Texas; a daughter, Sandra and Stan Riley Chattanooga; brothers, James “Jim” Hill, Hampton, and Lofton Hill, Jonesboro; a sister, Mary Lee, Jonesboro; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Marguerite Cofer Duncan

Marguerite Cofer Duncan, 93, Fayetteville, died June 19, 2005. She was born June 18, 1912 in Hancock County, daughter of Pleasant Asbury and Alice Saphronia Davis Cofer. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Randy Wood officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park. Survivors include a son, Lester Ray Duncan, Atlanta; daughters, Joan and Marshall Lewis, Senoia, Doris Phillips, and Linda and James Callaway, all of Fayetteville, and Mary and Ralph Cody, Newnan; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. John Francis Mulhern III

John Francis “Trey” Mulhern III, 34, Fayetteville, died June 21, 2005. He was born Feb. 12, 1971 in Ethiopia. He was an honor graduate of Jonesboro High School, class of 1989. He attended Auburn University and Georgia Southern University. He enjoyed basketball and golf. Services were at the Fayetteville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include a daughter, McKenzie Mulhern; parents, John and Pam Mulhern, Fayetteville; a sister, Melissa Mulhern, Newnan; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Salmon, Weaver, Ala. Carl J. Helen J. Walker

Helen J. Walker, 82, Union City, died June 23, 2005. She was born Oct. 31, 1922 in Fulton County, Ga. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Danny Wilson officiating. Interment was at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta. Survivors include sons, Robert and C. J. Walker, and Brian Walker, all of Marietta; daughters, Dianne and Buddy Mann, Inman, and Jean Burns, Marietta; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Roberts, Wildwood, Fla. Carol Heath

Carol Heath, 70, Fayetteville, died June 23, 2005. She was born March 26, 1935 in Charleston, S. C. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. Services were at New Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Stegall, the Rev. Norm Doughtery, the Rev. Wilson Williiams, and the Rev. Gene Williams officiating. Interment was at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Fayetteville. Survivors include her husband, Fred Heath, Fayetteville; a son, Mike and Linda Heath, Burns, Wyo.; a daughter, Kelly and Steve Sigman, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Bonnie Sigman, Brad Sigman, Bryan Sigman, Chad Heath, Chris Heath, and Sarah Heath; a great-grandchild, Stephen Thomas Sigman; brothers, Jack Biggs, Covington, and Gene Gibbs, Gainesville, Fla.; and sisters, Myrtle Vondolan, Isle of Palms, S. C., and Juanita Ivey, Richland. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.

 

Marcia Ann Loyd

Marcia Ann Loyd, 61, Acworth, died June 26, 2005. She was born Oct. 14, 1943. Memorial services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Chuck Hodges and the Rev. Dee Shelnutt officiating.
