Dance celebration this weekend

Georgia Academy of Dance celebrates its 15th season of dance excellence with three performances to be presented at The Centre for Performing and Visual Arts of Coweta County June 11 and June 12.

“A Mouse in the House” will highlight the Early Childhood Program June 11 at 11 am. “A Few Pointers” will premiere energized contemporary dances including hip hop, jazz, modern and tap June 11 at 7 p.m. “A Midsummer Night's Dream,” a comical ballet from the tales of Shakespeare, will be presented June 12 at 2 p.m. Guest artists of the Atlanta Ballet will also be a part of the ballet.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. Tickets may be purchased at Georgia Academy of Dance or at the box office at The Centre for Performing and Visual Arts of Coweta County.
