Recital is this weekend

Dance Contempra is proud to announce their 3rd annual year-end recital “Students in Concert.” The show will take place at Starr’s Mill Auditorium June 3rd at 6:30 P.M. and June 4th at 2 P.M. The shows will feature a wide variety of dance styles and choreographic works performed by students in addition to guest performances by Josh Lewis from the Gainesville Ballet and Mary Beth Crook formerly of the Joffrey Ballet and currently with the Montgomery Ballet, who will also be featured as a guest instructor during Dance Contempra’s Summer Dance Program June 20-July 1.

Dance Contempra is wrapping up another stellar year having had many students accepted into prestigious summer dance programs such as Tri Coastal Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, and Alvin Ailey many of whom were accepted on scholarships. Dance Contempra is also proud to announce that due to their phenomenal growth in their first three years, the studio will be moving to a brand new, larger facility at 301 Kelly Drive in the heart of Peachtree City. The new studio will feature three large studios all with true sprung dance floors and lots of natural light. The new space has been custom built to the exacting standards of Artistic Director Paola Jenkins.
