Vacation Bible SchoolGreentree ChurchGreentree Church in Tyrone will have Vacation Bible School Sunday, June 5, through Thursday, June 9, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The theme is Ramblin Road Trip: Which way Do I Go? Built around an RV road trip across the U.S.A., VBS activities will include Bible stories, a souvenir shop of crafts, music, camp-related refreshments and recreation for everyone. The kickoff event is scheduled for Sunday, June 5, at 4:30 p.m. Greentree Church is at 414 Jenkins Rd., Tyrone. New Hope Baptist, North CampusNew Hope Baptist Church, North Campus, will have Vacation Bible School Monday, June 6 through Friday, June 10, from 9 a.m until 12:15 p.m. The theme will be Ramblin Road Trip: Which Way Do I Go? and is for children ages 4 (by Sept. 1, 2005) through sixth grade. All children attending must complete a registration form which is available at either campus (north or south). For more information, call 770-460-4826. Fayetteville ChristianFayetteville Christian Church will have Holy Land Experience Vacation Bible School beginning Monday, June 6 from 9 a.m. until noon. Classes will be available for children ages 4 through fifth grade. Children will become a part of history as they learn what it was like to live in Biblical times. They will explore marketplace shops, become students in a synagogue school, dance to Bible songs, and sample different foods, as they learn about life when Jesus walked the earth. McDonough Road BaptistMcDonough Road Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School Monday, June 6 through Friday, June 10, from 9 a.m. until noon. The theme is Rambling Road Trip: Which Way Do I Go? A week full of arts and crafts, Bible stories, music, recreation, refreshments, and fun highlight the activities for age 4 - 12th grade. Family Night will be Thursday, June 9, when the VBS musical will be presented, hot dogs will be served, and parents may visit each childs classroom to pick up their work. Sunday morning, June 12, is VBS T-shirt day. Bible study for all ages begins at 9:45 a.m. and worship is at 10:55 a.m. McDonough Road Baptist Church is at 352 McDonough Road, just past the drivers license office. Fayette PresbyterianFayette Presbyterian Church will have Circle G Ranch Vacation Bible School Monday, June 6, through Friday, June 10, from 9 a.m. until noon. Children in grades K- 5 are invited to participate. Activities will include music, crafts, games, snack and a Bible drama. Children also will help prepare lunches for Square Foot Ministrys IMPACT 05 Build in Fayette. VBS will conclude with a barbeque picnic at noon Friday, June 10.
