Bad Links? | Tiger Martial Arts heading to Jr. Olympic ChampionshipsThe Tiger Martial Arts School of Fayetteville led by Master Instructor Kojak and six assistant coaches sent a 20 member team to the Junior Olympic qualifier trials may 13-15 in Ft. Lauderdale. Tiger dominated the trials by capturing nine gold medals, five silver and three bronze. The team features athletes ranging in age from 6-22. Kojak is assisted by coaches Marvin Larry, Kim Leday, Vincent Washington, Eddie Reed, Paulo Martins and Johnny Edwards and the teams captain, William Edwards. The medal winners were: Savannah Jordan, gold; Wesley Reed, gold; Briana Miller, gold; Torre Washington, gold; Immanuel Larry, gold; Gabriel Absi, gold; Alyssa Jordan, gold; Chris Martin, gold; Christian Martins, gold; Enya Absi, silver; Ryan Purifoy, silver; William Edwards, silver; Arthur Chapman, silver; Mandel Jones, silver; Eli Presberg, bronze; Trenton Edwards, bronze; Felix Ramos, bronze. All 17 athletes have qualified for the Junior Olympic Championships in San Antonio, Texas, July 21-25. The 10 athletes who are in the 13 and up division and in green belt and higher will be competing in a tournament in Las Vegas in August. These 17 athletes are now competing in the world class division and are potentially being scouted for Junior Olympic teams.
