He was a member of the Georgia Bar Association, and an assistant District Attorney for the Griffin Judicial Circuit. He previously served as a Special Agent for the United States Secret Service. Services were at the Peachtree City First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tony Lankford officiating. Interment was at the Brooks Memorial Cemetery. Harrison IV, Glenn T. Harrison Sr., Mary C. Moody, Adrian L. Moody, and T. Edward Moody Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Christine Harrison, Glenn T. She was born Sept. 9, 1917 in Monroe County. Memorial services were at the Fayetteville Christian Church. Survivors include daughters, Deborah and Jere Kimbrell, Dawsonville; and Mary Ellen Hill, Fayetteville; a sister, Madelyn Stalvey, Tyler, Texas; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge. Gloria Smith Hanes Gloria Smith Hanes, 79, Peachtree City, died May 16, 2005. She was born Jan. 7, 1926 in Clayton County, the daughter of the late Dr. Elbert and Vivian Smith. She was a 1947 graduate of Wesleyan Womens College. She had been a resident of Peachtree City since 1971. She was a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Peachtree City, and a member of the Joy Club. Services were at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Bill DeLay officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park. Survivors include her husband of 15 years, Reid Hanes, Peachtree City; children, Ann Price, Moreland, and Debbie Cunningham, Newnan; a brother, Elbert Smith Jr., Atlanta; and grandchildren, Jamie Price, Heather Jones, and Whitney Pallas.
