What do you think of this story? | Porto heads to business schoolElizabeth Porto, a sophomore at the University of Georgia and 2003 graduate of Sandy Creek High School, has been admitted to The Terry College of Business Bebe and Earl Leonard Leadership Scholars Program. This cutting edge program is the most comprehensive of its kind to exist within a university setting anywhere in the country. Admission to this program is highly selective. Leadership Scholars receive personal assessments of their leadership skills, attend innovative leadership classes, and participate in exciting networking and professional events. Participating corporations include Coca Cola,Synovus Bank, Home Depot, and United Parcel Service to name a few. This summer Elizabeth will study economics at Cambridge University in England before returning to UGA in the fall. She has maintained a 3.6 cumulative average and has been on the Deans List since entering college. | |
