Panthers, Tigers and War Eagles move on to Elite 8

The Starr's Mill Panthers defeated Glynn Academy 1-0 and 17-0 on Wednesday afternoon, while Fayette County beat Camden County in their doubleheader in the AAAAA state playoffs, 4-3 and 11-3. Both teams advance to the state quarterfinals next week. Starr's Mill will play at Parkview and Fayette County will play at Lassiter. Games are tentatively scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.

In Class A tournament action, Landmark Christian defeated Gordon Lee 11-2 and 13-10 to move on to the state quarterfinals. Landmark will play the winner of the Atkinson County/Brookstone series on the road next week.
