PFH marks week in honor of healthcare employees

Piedmont Fayette Hospital wouldn’t be on any lists of top 100 hospitals without its dedicated team of healthcare employees. 

In recognition of National Nurses Week and National Hospital Week, Piedmont Fayette is shining the spotlight on its nurses and healthcare workers for the outstanding care they provide to patients. The themes for this year’s celebrations are “Nurses: Many Roles One Profession” and “A Calling to Care.”

“We often get so busy that we sometimes don’t have time to say ‘thank you’ to our employees,” said Darrell Cutts, president and CEO of Piedmont Fayette Hospital.  “This week of celebration is our way of letting them know that we appreciate the top quality of care they give to our patients and the community all year long.”

Nurses are an integral part of the hospital team, offering hands-on patient care and assisting physicians in the operating room, among a host of other duties. Piedmont Fayette Hospital’s nurses also serve in various leadership positions.
