Sitzler named VP at EMC

Michael C. Whiteside, president & CEO of Coweta-Fayette EMC, has announced the promotion of Stanley Sitzler to vice president of administrative services. Sitzler is a graduate of Marietta Tech with a degree in electrical engineering technology.

He began working with Coweta-Fayette in 1978 as a college co-op student. Throughout his career with the EMC, Sitzler has held many different positions working his way up to district manager in the Fayette County office.

In his new position, he will assist the president & CEO in the oversight of contracts and power supply agreements; manage the operation of the Fayette district office; work on new technology that might enhance the EMC’s services and assist with various human resource functions.

He is an active member of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce, where he served as an ambassador for the past 9 years. He and his wife, Denise, reside in Newnan.
