Girl Scouts holding ‘Uniquely Me’ camp

Come turn your beauty inside out at the Girl Scouts of Pine Valley Council “Uniquely Me!” weekend May 6-7 at Camp Pine Valley in Meansville, Ga.  All girls ages 11-12 or in the 5th and 6th grade are invited to come at participate in these exciting activities:

• Yoga
• Self-Defense Classes
• Makeovers
• Skin Care
• Beauty Seminar
• Movies
• Games
• Fashion Show

Research indicates that girls ages 11-12 have significantly different needs and interests than girls in the fourth and fifth grades and want activities where they can have fun, talk about friendships, improve self-confidence, improve the world around them, and be outdoors. 

The “Uniquely Me!” weekend will address teen pressures that girls face and allow the girls to discuss them in a non-threatening environment.
