Harry James Minter III

Harry James “Jim” Minter III, Peachtree City, died April 11, 2005. He was born in 1937 in Dearborn, Mich. He was graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration and a masters degree in economics. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Army and after graduation served in Germany during the occupation of the Berlin Wall. He then owned businesses in East Point, College Park, and Forest Park. After retirement he was employed by Chick-Fil-A at Town Center, Fayetteville, where he worked as the dining room manager and public relations. A memorial mass was held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Peachtree City. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Judy Roe Minter; daughters, Molly and Brad Murphy, Katie and John Thomas, and Amy and Joe Copeland; grandchildren, Haley, Maggie, Ashley, and Dustin Murphy, Cassie and Carley Copeland, Matthew Speiser, and Jack and Georgia Thomas; and a brother, Raymond.

Dennis Jerome Albea

Dennis Jerome Albea, 60, Fayetteville, died April 25, 2005. He was born Feb. 22, 1945 in Mobile, Mobile County, Ala. He was retired from Delta Air Lines as a cargo representative. He was a graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service and following his retirement from Delta, worked full time as a funeral director and embalmer at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Dr. Sam Matthews officiating. Interment was at Resthaven Cemetery, Lanett, Ala. Survivors include Stuart and Christy Albea, and Alexandra Albea, all of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Scott Albea, Carrollton, Shawn Albea, Fayetteville, E. T. Albea Jr., Valley, Ala., Tawana Martin, Pensacola, Fla., and Eleanor Albea, Fayetteville; and two nieces. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.

Anne K. Mitcham

Anne K. Mitcham 89, Fayetteville, died April 25, 2005. She was born Oct. 1, 1915 in Fulton County, Ga. She was retired at the age of 70 from Courier Uniform Printing Company as a secretary. She was a member of Beecher Hills Baptist Church. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Dr. George Dillard officiating. Interment was at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta. Survivors include sons Bill and Sherry Mitcham, Fayetteville, and Bob Mitcham, San Pedro, Calif.; and a sister-in-law, Charlotte Kahrs, Douglasville. Carl J. Pearle H. Davis

Pearle H. Davis, 89, Jonesboro, died April 26, 2005. She was born May 16, 1915 in Kissimmee, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred C. Davis, and a son, Malcolm L. Davis. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Dr. Dean Haun officiating. Interment was at College Park Cemetery. Survivors include children, Ronald and Barbara Davis, Stockbridge, Kenneth and Linda Davis, O’Brien, Fla., Joy and Tom Eidson, Senoia, and John W. and Kathy Davis, Acworth; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Miriam Anderson, Union City. Charles Ellis Pyron Jr.

Charles Ellis Pyron Jr., 75, Tyrone, died April 26, 2005. He was born April 6, 1930 in Fayette County, son of Charles Ellis and Emily McElwaney Pyron Sr. He served in the United States Army as a corporal in the Korean Conflict. Services were at Flat Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. W. O. Priester, the Rev. Gordon Reeves, and the Rev. Phillip McElwaney officiating. Interment was at Sharon Memorial Gardens, Tyrone. Survivors include his wife, Emily M. Pyron, Tyrone; a son, Steven Ellis and Nedin Pyron, Clearwater, Fla.; daughters, Shelah and Ronnie Cannon, Chaska, Mich., and Valerie and Scott Poiteving, Tyrone; grandchildren, Jonathan and Katie Cannon, Ashley Cannon, Stephanie and Christopher Whatley, Celeste Pyron, and Jesse and Jeremy Poiteving; a brother, Fred and Doris Pyron; a sister, Mary and Richard Gaddy; and a sister-in-law, Dot Mitchell. Kimberley Annette Dungan

Kimberley Annette Dungan, 2, Fayetteville, died April 27, 2005. She was born Dec. 20, 2002 in Tokyo, Japan and was baptized there in the Roman Catholic Church at Franciscan Chapel Center by the Rev. Father Claudio Gianesin. She moved to Fayetteville at the age of seven months. She attended Providence United Methodist Church M.O.M. program. Services were at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Jimmy Adams officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Gardens, Fayetteville. Survivors include her parents, Tim and Marilyn Dungan, Fayetteville; siblings, Lindsey, Charlotte, Jay, and Mark, all of Fayetteville; grandparents, Larry and Sue Dungan, Friendswood, Texas, and Oliver Jerry and Ann Rowell, Plano, Texas. Billie Jean Kemp

Billie Jean Kemp, 74,Riverdale, died April 27, 2005. She was born March 21, 1931 in Calhoun County. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Pastor Tim Bearden officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Thurmon Kemp, Riverdale; children, Patti and Donald Martin, Jefferson, Cindy and Doug Bearden, Senoia, Lori Kemp, Riverdale, Mindy and Jerry White, Dallas, Ga., Lisa and Steve Bennett, East Point, Paul Kemp, Helsinki, Finland, and Amy and Chris Dowd, Griffin; seven grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and a sister, Doris Irene and Jack Casey, Laurel, Miss. Kevin Clinton Shaw

Kevin Clinton Shaw Sr., 50, Cartersville, died April 27, 2005. He was born Nov. 1, 1954 in Providence, R. I. He was a member of the NRA, and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and rifleman. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include his wife, Tammi E. Shaw, Cartersville; a son, Kevin Clinton Shaw Jr.; a daughter, Leigha E. Shaw; a brother, Dale H. Shaw, Jonesboro; sisters, Jane Shaw Lankford, Peachtree City, and Pamela Shaw Booher, Newnan; and his father, Clinton W. Shaw Jr. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City.

Stefania Reddick

Stefania Reddick, 82, Peachtree City, formerly of East Point, died April 29, 2005. She was born July 23, 1922 in Detroit, Mich. Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy; a grandson, Charles Johnson; a granddaughter, Vanessa; and beloved companion, Harry Brewton. Memorial donations may be given to the Southwest Christian Hospice, 7225 Lester Road, Union City, GA 30291. Metro Crematory, Peachtree City, was in charge.
