He was graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration and a masters degree in economics. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Army and after graduation served in Germany during the occupation of the Berlin Wall. He then owned businesses in East Point, College Park, and Forest Park. After retirement he was employed by Chick-Fil-A at Town Center, Fayetteville, where he worked as the dining room manager and public relations. A memorial mass was held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Peachtree City. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Judy Roe Minter; daughters, Molly and Brad Murphy, Katie and John Thomas, and Amy and Joe Copeland; grandchildren, Haley, Maggie, Ashley, and Dustin Murphy, Cassie and Carley Copeland, Matthew Speiser, and Jack and Georgia Thomas; and a brother, Raymond. Dennis Jerome AlbeaDennis Jerome Albea, 60, Fayetteville, died April 25, 2005. He was born Feb. 22, 1945 in Mobile, Mobile County, Ala. He was retired from Delta Air Lines as a cargo representative. He was a graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service and following his retirement from Delta, worked full time as a funeral director and embalmer at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Dr. Sam Matthews officiating. Interment was at Resthaven Cemetery, Lanett, Ala. Mitcham 89, Fayetteville, died April 25, 2005. She was born Oct. 1, 1915 in Fulton County, Ga. She was retired at the age of 70 from Courier Uniform Printing Company as a secretary. She was a member of Beecher Hills Baptist Church. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Dr. George Dillard officiating. Interment was at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred C. Davis, and a son, Malcolm L. Davis. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Dr. Dean Haun officiating. Interment was at College Park Cemetery. He was born April 6, 1930 in Fayette County, son of Charles Ellis and Emily McElwaney Pyron Sr. He served in the United States Army as a corporal in the Korean Conflict. Services were at Flat Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. W. O. Priester, the Rev. Gordon Reeves, and the Rev. Phillip McElwaney officiating. Interment was at Sharon Memorial Gardens, Tyrone. Survivors include his wife, Emily M. She moved to Fayetteville at the age of seven months. She attended Providence United Methodist Church M.O.M. program. Services were at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Jimmy Adams officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Gardens, Fayetteville. Survivors include her parents, Tim and Marilyn Dungan, Fayetteville; siblings, Lindsey, Charlotte, Jay, and Mark, all of Fayetteville; grandparents, Larry and Sue Dungan, Friendswood, Texas, and Oliver Jerry and Ann Rowell, Plano, Texas. Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy; a grandson, Charles Johnson; a granddaughter, Vanessa; and beloved companion, Harry Brewton.
