She was preceded in death by her husband, William James McGuire Sr., and Kenneth F. McGuire, in 1999. Graveside services were at Haisten-Eastlawn Memorial Park, McDonough, with the Rev. Charles Gardner officiating. Survivors include a son, William James and Jan McGuire Jr., Fayetteville; granddaughters Kelly McGuire, Vinings, and Dawn Walter, Florida; and a sister, Dorothy Burke, Buffalo, N. Y. Haisten Funeral Home, McDonough, was in charge. William HoustonWilliam Billy Houston, 68,Tyrone, died April 21, 2005. He was born April 12, 1937 in Fayette County, son of Richard Loy and Ida Mae McElwaney Houston. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Phillip McElwaney officiating. Interment was at Hopewell Cemetery, Tyrone. Survivors include his wife, Alice Houston, Tyrone; daughters, Debbie and Toney Peek, Carrollton, Diane Knuth, Douglasville, Amanda Fegenbush, Tyrone, and Brenda Houston, Griffin; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Services were at the Fayetteville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Interment was at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Jonesboro. Survivors include his wife, Grace Maddox, Christian City; a son, Robert Maddox, Jonesboro; daughters, Allene Jones, and Glenda Knowles, both of Fayetteville; a sister, Frances Nasse, Maine; and seven grandchildren.
