Survivors include his parents, Donald and Cheryl Lovett, Fayetteville; brothers, Zach Lovett, and Kyle Lovett, both of Fayetteville; and his beloved dog, KS. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge. Doris Campbell CartledgeDoris Campbell Cartledge, 87, Fayetteville, died April 11, 2005. She was born Oct. 28, 1917 in Fulton County. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Cartledge. Services were the College Park Presbyterian Church with interment at the College Park Cemetery. Survivors include a son, Ben and Marcia Cartledge; daughters, Carolyn and Wilson Stephens, and Kathryn and Elizabeth Cartledge-Eve; grandchildren, Sidney McLane Stephens, Brian Dovard Cartledge, Mary Hart Craig, and Bess Bryan-Rouse; two great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Sara C. Pete Petersen, 64, Jacksonville, formerly of Peachtree City, and Hammock Dunes, Palm Coast, Fla., died April 11, 2005. He was born Nov. 15,1940 in San Pedro, Calif., and graduated from the public schools in North Hollywood, Calif. He was active in sports, and was graduated from UCLA in 1963. He joined the United States Air Force in 1963 and flew for it until 1969. He then worked as a pilot for Delta Air Lines, finishing his 31-year career as a captain on the Boeing 767, flying international routes to Europe. Memorial services were at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Lynne Lumpkins Petersen; a son, Andy and Tina Petersen; a daughter, Kristie and Tom Renaud; stepdaughters, Lindsay Huband, and Caroline Huband; grandchildren, Courtney, Emily, Katie, Nathan, and Matthew; a brother, David and Leslie Petersen; and a sister, Karen and Ron Bott.
