Curry named new VP at Metro Brokers

Glen Curry is the new vice president of Metro Brokers Insurance.

Curry brings 16 years of experience in the insurance industry to the company. Prior to joining Metro Brokers Insurance, he was a property claims representative for State Farm Insurance and an agency manager for Encompass Insurance.

Curry has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Cumberland College and lives in Buford.

Curry replaces Jim Cole, president of Metro Brokers Insurance, who is retiring to Destin, Fla., after working 34 years in the insurance industry. The Atlanta native has worked for Metro Brokers Insurance since its inception 12 years ago and was instrumental in the growth of the company.

Metro Brokers Insurance is located in Atlanta. They are a member of Independent Insurance Agents and have also received Met Life Auto & Home’s Peak Performer Award for four consecutive years for productivity.
