National Heights seniors plan tripSenior adults at National Heights Baptist Church will travel to south Georgia April 14 and 15 to see the play, Swamp Gravy, and to visit museums in Plains and Americus. A tour of the International Habitat for Humanity Village in Americus also is planned. Senior adults also will meet Tuesday, April 12, for a covered dish luncheon. Flat Creek sets cross-cultural seminarFlat Creek Baptist Church will host a cross-cultural training seminar Friday and Saturday, April 22-23, presented by the International Missions Training Institute, an arm of the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. The event is open to the public. Registration fee is $15 per participant and includes a volunteer training manual and two meals. The deadline for registration is April 10 and seating is limited.
