Bad Links? | Martinis on tap for food, drinks at The FredBy JOHN MUNFORD Concertgoers at The Fred this year will likely get their food and spirits from Martinis, which has been provided a license to sell alcohol at the amphitheater. Originally it was thought that Deli Delicious would again be the food vendor this year, but the contract approved by the Peachtree City Tourism Association was not to the companys liking, said association chairman Murray Weed. The contract with Martinis has not been finalized, officials said, but it is expected to be in place for the first concert of the season: The Four Tops, April 22-23. Weed said he is pleased with the type of product that Martinis will provide and he noted that the company has extensive experience in the industry. Deli Delicious did not sign the contract so we found another provider and we are looking forward to working with a new provider, Weed said. New series tickets are now available, and individual ticket sales will occur starting April 11. Tickets can be bought through Ticketmaster or in person at the amphitheater box office from Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. |
